I love Paris! Champagne, shopping, fashion & culture – what more do you what from a city break that is only a 2-hour train away?!

Paris in the winter is magical! I love people watching and everyone is so fabulous with such wonderful and chic outfits – Parisian woman are so glam!

I stayed here – http://www.castille.com/en/ & it was beautiful!

Hotel Castille Paris

33-37 Rue Cambon

Paris, France

Hotel Castille is a 5-star hotel in central Paris and is a perfect starting point to explore the romantic capital! Plus, the location is amazing:

– Next to 31 Rue Cambon, Castille stands alongside the Chanel Maison, in the heart of the 1st Arrondissement

– Located near the legendary Champs-Elysees, right in the fashionable heart of Paris

– Place Vendome, Place de la Concorde, Louvre Museum, Galeries Lafayette are a pleasant walk away

This iconic boutique hotel has 108 rooms & suites that combine Parisian haute couture and a touch of Italian chic. Every detail at Castille has been lovingly restored to exude the opulence of its 18th century glory days, yet still retain a Parisian flair. It really is heavenly!

Although, with Chanel next door & Jimmy Choo close by, you will have to work on your shopping temptation control before you arrive 🙊

I went to Paris in December and I have to say, one of the best things about going to Paris around Christmas time is there huge 500+ stall Christmas Market. My favourite lunch was from one of the stalls with was an amazing fresh French stick with ham & truffle cheese washed down with a mulled wine. I then followed it up by a glass of champagne from the champagne stall for only €6!! (The cheapest glass of champers you will find in Paris! Trust me!)

My Dress – Lucys Boutique

If you are heading to Paris to go shopping, there is only two places I would recommend:

-Place Vendome

I spent a lot of my time in Paris testing out the bar scene… it was December after all! Here are my top bars that you MUST visit if go.

I loved it here – the bar was beautifully designed with a dramatic marble bar as its centrepiece. This was my favourite place to sip cocktails & indulgent red wine – plus their courtyard was decorated really festive. The ideal place for a sophisticated evening!

Le George at the Four Seasons George V

As you can imagine at the Four Seasons the décor was Immaculate & grand, mixing luxurious Parisian style with a modern twist. The food is absolutely delicious! The menu is light Mediterranean cuisine, perfect for sharing. I definitely recommend the truffle pasta – it is one of the tastiest & most indulgent meals I’ve ever had! The service is attentive & efficient but not over bearing.

The decor, food & service is 5 star which is quite rightly reflected in the price. Definitely the perfect place for a real treat or celebration.
